My wife and I are headed to tahoe to go boating. Will be there for a week. Anybody know where the good beaches are. This will be our first time boating there.

Where in Lake Tahoe are you staying? On the North East Shore there are awsome beaches and coves. Camp Richards has a nice beach that is on The South West part of the lake. Emerald Bay with the Castle is also located on the south west side of the lake.
How big is your boat? The Lake can get pretty nasty at times so make sure you check the weather. You can also check out Fallen Leaf Lake. It is Right across from Camp Richards on the Southwest side of the lake. It is a decent size lake and a great place to ski tube or wake board.
Make sure your trailer is clean of any mussels or algea because you will not be allowed to launch. Just for your info the lake is cold as hell lol this time of year but beautiful.

Good information Rotten. Glad someone has been there to share information with us all. Thanks. Share those pics when you return Burnin Daylight. We would all like to see what it looks like there.

when is lake tahoe not cold lol, been there once for a week vacation, we ended up staying in a condo though, i would imagine you could find a nice cove in any direction you go out there. emerald beach is pretty nice..
there are some campgrounds on the south end of tahoe.
have a good time and take alot of pics.
