I have never been a big fan of them myself, I love something with a beefy V-8. I so think they would be great for the shallow river area's and off weekends. You can buy a pretty nice used 21-24' bowrider with a good motor for the brand new price of one of those.

I am in the same 454 ci powered jet boat as 450... I like to have the power to get out of any situation... Those littler boats are fun, just not our cup of tea... or shot of Jager!!!

I tend to like them...and i should! Thats what i have- 2006 Yamaha SR210. They're pretty nice and the storage space is ridiculous. Once you get used to having jet drives instead of a sterndrive, they are pretty easy to control, especially having twin engines. A buddy of mine who got me into boating has a 28/29ft Magic, and likes the look and feel of the Yamaha. He went out with us on the maiden voyage this past summer. the top speed isnt too bad, just under 50mph and the hole shot is real nice...

Not a huge fan of the Sea-Doo's, but i may be a bit bias...:)
