It is that time again... The first weekend in Feb... :)

Dear Off-Road Enthusiasts:

In the world we live in there are good off-road desert races, there are great off-road desert races and then there are LEGENDS. Well, the BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425" is just that, a legend in off-road desert racing ~ “THE LEGEND LIVES ON!” The Parker Legend started in 1972, known as the Norra Dam “500”, then in 1974 as the Parker “400” and grew to become a legend in off-road desert racing. The Best In The Desert is keeping this great event alive, there’s no question about it, it’s better today and it’s a race you don’t want to miss. There’s no better way to start your 2010 racing season then with the BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425", “The Legend Lives On!”
The BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425" no doubt stands alone as one of everyone’s favorite races of “The American Off-Road Racing Series!” All year long this is what we hear from racers, “Parker is my favorite race” “Parker is the best race going.” “I love going to Parker.” The lure of the challenge, as well as the excitement of this great legend in off-road races is attracting interest from all over the United States, it is attracting those who are looking for a true “American Off-Road Adventure!” If you like off-road adventure, if you would like to race on an exciting off-road racecourse, if you like long distance off-road racing, then you MUST come and participate in the BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425". Even the unprecedented rain we had for the 2009 Parker “425” was an adventure; not many of us had been caught in a downpour like that before, it was unbelievable!
The BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425" will be a high caliber gathering of off-road racing’s best, to test their off-road racing skills against the many unforeseen challenges the beautiful Arizona terrain has to offer. If you like exciting off-road races, and you want to be a part of a legend, then enter the BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425". Make no mistakes about it, the BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425" is not your typical garden-variety weekend race! It begins on Thursday, February 4, with an exciting “Time Trial” event, which determines Top starting positions in Class 1400 & 1500 only. After the Time Trials we will have a SHOW & SHINE on the streets of Downtown Parker. The Time Trial vehicles will be on display downtown and then escorted back to the BlueWater Resort & Casino for the Welcome Party and the viewing of the Time Trial results!
You will again run the exciting PARKER PYTHON! The Python will be a rough section of jumps in front of thousands of cheering spectators. The Python will be modified a bit this year and you have two chances to test your skills against the Parker Python! The BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425" has something for everyone; The beautiful backdrop of the Colorado River, Time Trials, Race Legends, the Parker Python, the beautiful BlueWater Resort & Casino, Shea Road Spectating Area, and the exciting long distance, off-road race challenge, the BlueWater Resort Parker "425"!
I leave you with this thought! Life is too short! Take advantage of this opportunity and start making your plans now to be a part of the BlueWater Resort & Casino Parker "425"! This is my personal invitation to come join me for the start of the most awesome 2010 year in racing! On a side note... I have a friend or two in the race. Cameron Steel of the Desert Assassins.

Also I might be involved in the race. My friend, John... of the Hydro Car fame, have been building a monster!!! 850+ HP 4x We have been testing a few times, and the truck is looking good!!! I could be the Co-Pi, but I would be just as happy being part of the pit crew. WE WILL SEE...

Yes!! What a SICK weekend... The race was great. It rained for a lil bit then the sun came out... gorgeous!!! We were in the #18 pit of:
Tracy Rubio (40) Kingman, AZ,
Larry Trim (48) Lynnwood, WA,
Kenneth DeVault (32) Kingman, AZ,
Tyler Conner (21) Kingman, AZ,

I believe they were in 4th place on the final lap, when the truck broke down, not too far from the finish. Sorry guys, but it was awesome to watch...
