Here is the story.... my family and i decided that we would head over to The Naked Turtle Beach Bar on Sunday evening for an appetizer and some drinks. We pulled up in the cove and tied up the boat on the beach and headed in. we there until about 930pm when we decided to load up and head out. My brother was the first out and i was a little behind as i was talking to a security guard on the way out. My sister came running up to me saying that my brother needed help on the boat because someone was on the boat. I ran over and some tweeker was about to get his face knocked off by my brother. I then noticed that the guy was wearing my shirt. i guess as my brother walked up on the boat this guy was in the process of going through my back pack, had my shirt on and had my brothers phone and ipod out on top of the storage compartment. Of course his excuse was that he was drunk and had wondered on the wrong boat. There were maybe three or four boats in the cove and there were about 80 or 90 feet away. my brother was really wanting to just beat the s*** out this guy. i stepped in and got in between them because you know the person going to jail would of been one us for assault. I then proceeded to pat this guy down as someone got security to help. He then has a bag and a shirt up in the planters. this bag was not a bag a guy would be carrying. i asked security to search his bag and make sure nothing of ours was in the bag, They did and luckly there was nothing of ours in the bag. Security let this guy go because he hadnt stolen anything. i just think we were lucky because if we would of stayed for one more drink our back pack, ipod and phones would have been gone.

we have never really worried about any like this in havasu. The keys to the boat were in the ignition and we dont even think twice about theft on the lake. i just wanted to give everyone a heads up to be one the look out for this loser and make sure he doesn't ruin your night like he did ours.

Thats crazy i think like you do whos going to mess with the boat your in havasu but there are those A$$HOLE$ . it would have been different with me i would have beat his A$$ :D Glad to hear eveything was still there :cool:

Ya that guy would have got a punch for sure, no questions asked. Damn that really sucks. I hope its not coming down to this because its kinda nice not having to worry about people like this while on our vacation time.

He would have been knocked out and off the back of the boat for sure. I dont have any sympathy for stupid azz thieves and tweakers. We work our asses off for what we have and it pisses me the F**K off whe some loser tries to take what they cant work for. Props to you for having the cooler head, There wouldnt have been any words exchanged if I had seen him first.

I am a time share owner there and I had my boat stereo stolen from their parking lot. The security guard said these crooks come from the mobile home area behind the golf course and steal from boats. FYI

Damn I Freeking Hate Thiefs I really, really do, I have been hit so many times its rediculous, home, my truck, my boat at home LHC, my RV, my office, my work trucks I even got my boat stolen from Exteme detailing in Havasu the idiot owner left it outside & some tweekers stole it. I have no sympathy at all for dirt bag tweeker thiefs, He was so lucky it wasnt me who cought him in my boat i would have taking the chance of the assult charge just to teach him a leason. All i would have had done was beat the crap out him outside my boat make sure he had some of my property on him like the shirt, ipod and so on, then tell the the cops he fell out and hurt him self, after stealing my stuff. Trust me the cops would more than likely be on our side they hate these dirt bags just as much as we do.
I wish every day to have the luck you had of catching a peice of crap red handed. just hasnt happened yet. But one day, one days, the dirt bag will pay for all the others that have got me, & hopefully i can teach him least a lesson.
Sorry for venting but i just hate Freeking Thiefs.

Ohhh man that sucks man those peices of **** have to take what we work so hard for i would of kicked his face in i have no tollerance for theifs there the worst! ive worked my ass of 65 hours a week for my sleek and if i cought someone in my boat there would be trouble for sure!

yup, some *******s sucked all the gas out of both my tanks as my boat was sitting overnight... wish i would have caught the fact that i was on empty before i launched!!! guess there was enough fuel in the lines to fire it up and start pulling away... next thing you know im floating down river, alone on my boat with no fuel
