A lobbyist for the alcohol industry thinks video gaming machines can help pull Arizona out of its financial straits.

Arizona Licensed Beverage Association president Bill Weigele told bar and restaurant owners in Lake Havasu City Monday that a recent study shows Arizona could see between $525 million and $1.26 billion per year if limited video gaming machines are allowed.

London Bridge Resort General Manager Cal Sheehy says adding gaming machines is an intriguing concept and could have some benefits to Arizona's economy.
