Search Continues At Lake Havasu For Diver

Police and members of a Mohave County dive team continued their search Friday for 20-year-old a man last seen Thursday night falling into a western Arizona lake.

Lake Havasu City police spokesman Sgt. Joe Harrold said that a 911 call came in at 10:30 p.m. Thursday from the Nautical Inn Resort on Lake Havasu. The caller said a man fell into the lake while playing on a huge floating toy called Iceberg Mountain.

Witnesses said the 20-year-old man failed to surface after landing in the water, Harrold said.

Police and fire personnel arrived and fire department divers entered the water to conduct a search, he said.

Harrold said divers returned to Lake Havasu Friday morning to continue the search.
