I like labor day , well its the last holiday of the summer plus I think people think its a sign that the river season is over, which people tend to flock to the river to get one more look at the life...well then again every trip is a holiday for me

I most defenatly agree with you. 4th of July is & always has been my favorite holiday of the year, not only is it a very family orientated weekend but it also symblelizes what great pleasure we can get out of life because of our freedom & independance, We are the most fortunate country in the world to be able work hard and get rewarded greatly for our work & acomplishments, the more drive & work the more success we acomplish, & so many of us river rats come out to Gods Country (The River) to share our passion & love, & what better way to celebrate our freedom & independance but on the water with family, friends, our toys, great food, great music & and a great firework show to top it off over looking Thompsons Bay & Beautiful Lake Havasu City.
Yup 4th of July is my Christmas & my favaorite Holiday of the year!!! B)

My family stopped going on big weekends quite a few years back. Too hectic, we like to get out and relax and not have to worry about dumb-assess without a clue.

I did go Memorial 09 and had a good time. Wasnt quite as busy than a holiday weekend can be.

For us it has to be July 4th. We always spend the week of the 4th at our place in Needles. Over the last couple years it seems more and more people in our park at Rainbo Beach have been doing the week of the 4th too. We will be up there this weekend and going up next Thursday for Labor Day. See ya up there!

Desert Storm Poker Run is the best holiday (it's a Holiday to Me) in Havasu becasue it marks the begining of the season. Memorial Day weekend starts the summer in Oregon, but LHC is warm enough at the end of April to jump in.
