Ok.. im going to be keeping a trailer in crazy horse for the summer. To avoid having to drive my gas guzzler to the river every weekend just to launch the boat, i was thinking i would do it with my rhino thats already out there. its a eliminator eagle 236. i would be towing it less then 1/4 mile to the ramp and putting it in the water. I know the rhino is rated at 1,212 pounds i believe. I dont think i would have a problem if i put it in 4 wheel low, just want some input on this from anyone who might have experience or thoughts.

I wouldnt. You will NUKE the tranny and/or clutch trying to get it out of the water, not to mention the braking when backing into the water. That boat empty on the trailer probably wieghs in at around 4000 lbs. You might be able to move it around the lot on flat ground, but pulling up that grade of the launch ramp would be way too much.
I know guys that have launched smaller lighter boats with 4x4 V-6 Chevy S-10 and it was sketchy.
Just my opinion.
Rent a 1/2 ton truck from U-haul in town or wherever has them available. I'm sure that would still be cheaper than driving the gas guzzler all the way out there.

i have owned a rhino for awhile now and from my experience high heat and excessive loads lead to a friend clutch belt which is well over 100 bucks!!!
i would drive the fuel guzzler because it may end up costing you more for the belt and install on it
