Description:Celebrate the life and memory of Mark Hahn at the 8th Annual Mark Hahn Memorial 300 Mile Race. Once again this event will be sanctioned by the American Power Boat Association (APBA), and is expected to draw a record number of teams from around the globe as well as all of the top PWC racers.

The race is designed to be a lifestyle event that allows first time racers as well as veteran racers to compete at their own level where everyone walks away a winner having just competed in and completed the grueling 300 mile journey. There are so many variables in the event – from fuel stops, rider changes, rough water conditions and attrition – that it is very possible that a stock boat with an inexperienced racer could walk away the overall winner.

Following the race, Mark’s long-time friend Mike Follmer will host a first class awards banquet at the Aquatic Center which features cash purses, and great giveaways. Situated in Lake Havasu City, the Mark Hahn Memorial 300 is covered by international boating media enhancing the bragging rights in and around the entire “JetSki” racing world.

Who says you have to wait for the Fourth of July to enjoy fireworks? Once a year the Western Pyrotechnic Association comes to Lake Havasu City to show off their latest and greatest products. Thousands of spectators come from around the world to watch the clear desert sky become a canvas for this spectacular kaleidoscope of colors.

Sara Park is the place to be to watch this treat for the senses. The show takes place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m., although sporadic displays occur after sundown up until the show begins.

Move over Easter Bunny! The lake will shake with the sounds of the big V8 engines powering the Grand Prix Hydroplane racing boats to speeds of over 150 miles per hour as they race for the Havasu World Cup Easter Weekend 2012. The Havasu World Cup is the inaugural East vs. West challenge for these waterbourne rocket ships and the action in Thompson Bay will continue with racing on Saturday and Sunday. In addition to the Grand Prix Hydroplanes select classes of APBA inboard racing will take to the water. The Havasu World Cup promises to be a weekend of boat racing not seen since the days when McCulloch used boat racing to promote the city.

Folks, this is THE see and be seen event in the boating industry! Named "Top Poker Run in the Nation" by Performance Boats Magazine, Desert Storm 2012 is guaranteed to be a world-class collection of the most prestigious performance boats from across the nation!
